Currently and until October 31, an export quota system is in force, through which Argentina sells to the world 50% of the average of exports in the second half of 2020, and to which are added the tariff quotas that went to country, such as the Hilton Quota and Quota 481, destined for the European Union, the 20,000 tons per year to the United States and the 3,500 tons per month of kosher meat to Israel. In addition, until the end of the year the export of half beef, quarters with bones and the following popular cuts will be prohibited: roast, skirt, matambre, roast cover, square, shoulder and vacuum.

Against this background, the Mesa de Enlace launched a fight plan weeks ago, which according to the leaders is still underway, since they consider that the demand that meat exports be released must be kept in force. At the moment, the possibility of carrying out a marketing halt is not contemplated , but moving forward with other measures such as an awareness campaign among the population about the adverse effects of the measure and continuing with the dialogue with the provincial leaders, as happened last week. passed with the governor of Córdoba, Juan Schiaretti .

In relation to the governors, during the past week the claim of those leaders who suffered a severe defeat in the last primary elections, and who began negotiations with the Government of Alberto Fernández to review the measure that restricts the commercialization of meat to the world.
